June/July 2025 (Helping)

Hello! We have been in Costa Rica for about 2 weeks now and I wanted to let you know about our objectives and what the Lord is doing. 

 Costa Rica July 2025

Principal Objective 

To bring relief to Leo and his family emotionally, spiritually and financially. 

How? 

1Purchasing wood in a larger quantity for him to put the sawmill to work. 

2Praying and encouraging them.

3The purchase of a new engine head. 

Their family of 7 is down to one motorcycle! Another mechanic swindled Leo and stole his good engine head and replaced it with a cracked one. Still waiting for the new mechanic to finish.

4 Helping at the church. Leo’s elders aren’t able to help much due to their work schedules. 

5 Moving the rest of our stuff out of his house down to our new house (his old house)

Difficulties 

There have been many roadblocks, heavy rains, prepping our cars for rigorous Costa Rican inspection, slow mechanics, sickness and a week of Leo working for free to help the municipal water people to install high pressure hose across 3 farms for the mountain house to finally have city water !! Hallelujah!! 

Praise!!! 

Marlon led a young man to Jesus on Saturday! 

After a decade, and many doubters, the mountain house has water with amazing pressure!! 

The electric company found a subterranean river on our farm at the top of las Nubes!!! We almost didn’t buy it because it had no water and during prayer God led us to this verse “I will open rivers in desolate heights..” Isaiah 41:18 NIV 

   We have held onto that promise for 12 years and now there is actually proof of a river with enough water to provide for 400 homes. We have no idea exactly how the Lord will want to use this but we have water on the farm and God’s word came true!  wow  

More Praise

Thank the Father with us for His amazing provision and how He will glorify himself in these needs!! He never fails

Before we came we felt that this trip would be financially impossible but God assured us that He has it covered. Money for our tickets appeared out of nowhere and after a week the pledges to help Leo reached our goal of $2k! 

We have needs to pay for car parts, structural damage due to termites, groceries and gas. 

Healing from sickness, protection from people with bad intentions.  Thank you Father for hearing our prayers in Jesus name Amen!!
