MOTORCYCLE TRAGEDIES

2 young men died in a motorcycle collision on their way to work early on a January

morning. It was so tragic. One of the young men, Randall, we had known since he was a 10 year old. The ambulance took two hours to reach them and they both agonized and died of traumatic head injuries right on the pavement.

When we arrived to Costa Rica in the middle of December, there were two young men in the ICU after a horrible motorcycle accident. Jean Carlos, the son of one of our childhood friends, split his head open and has been in a coma all this time. It is a miracle he is still alive but the doctors say he won’t wake up. We are believing and hoping for a chance for Marlon to go pray with him at his bedside. He is not a born again believer (that we are aware of). Our greatest prayer all these weeks is that he would have a chance to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We would also love to see the name of Jesus be glorified by the Father giving Jean Carlos another chance. Randall didn’t get that extra time but we can only hope that he had a chance to choose Jesus while he lay dying.
