HELPING LEO PART 2

During our June/July 2025 trip we did not finish
everything we set out to do. A crazy amount of things happened to
Leo to keep him busy and unavailable to accomplish some important objectives. This of course left us feeling that too many things were up in the air. Talking with Leo last July we realized that a lot of these things are long term projects and require more manpower.
WHAT WAS NOT ACCOMPLISHED IN JULY?
-The major wood purchase to get the sawmill running permanently. Leo really doesn’t want to do this by himself.
-Visiting Leo’s cousin Cesar. He can’t find a church where he lives and has eagerly been awaiting a visit from us. He moved to the Pacific close to the Panama border in 2018.
-Begin working with a group of 25 Nicaraguan immigrants that live in a remote place and are on fire for Jesus. None of the Turrialba pastors are interested in getting to them.
-Visit the families in Tres Rios (next to the capitol) that got saved during Leo’s visit 2 years ago.
A REALIZATION
We were sitting in the junior college parking lot last week waiting for Felicity when Marlon got an overwhelmed call from Leo that's when he said he needed a hug. He also told us how he has been sick and his blood pressure seems to be high. (He rarely goes to the Dr.) We were on the verge of making a big decision that same day. It would have tied us to Corpus Christi even more but we were jolted by the realization that the door for Costa Rica is wide open for us. Our dear friend Yvonne Callicott used to say, “When you say yes to something, you’re saying no to something else.” THE ONLY WAY TO REALLY HELP LEO AND FINISH ALL THE PROJECTS GOD HAS PUT ON OUR HEART AND ATTEND TO ALL THE DIFFERENT PEOPLE IS TO MOVE BACK!
